Parish Hall Use POLICY

The Parish Halls at St. Joseph, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and St. Frances Xavier Cabrini are not rented any longer for private functions. This does not include family gatherings related to the Celebration of the Sacraments (this includes Baptisms, Weddings, and Funerals). Public, community and/or civic events will be considered on a case by case basis.

The rationale for this decision has to do with available staff, public safety and liability. Regardless of posted placards and indications in rental agreements, private events left each of our halls in a state of disrepair which our current small staff cannot not adequately address.

We are concerned for our parishioners who do use the halls for church related meetings, religious education, and sacramental preparation, and as such wish for our facilities to be safe and clean for these primary functions.
