The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (and similarly, of Children) incorporates a team of parishioners who work to introduce catechumens to life within the Catholic Church. They prepare inquirers to The Faith, facilitate their academic and spiritual formation, and ready them for the scrutinies leading up to baptism and/or full reception into the Catholic Church.
